Robert L. Chapman
President
Mr. Chapman, an accomplished financial and business development executive, brings 32 years of mining experience with some of the world's leading natural resource and engineering companies to Veris Gold. He has worked for Newmont Mining Corp. serving as the Regional Vice President, Apollo Gold Inc. as the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Knight Piesold & Co. as the Chief Financial Officer and Barrick Goldstrike Mines Inc. also in the capacity of Chief Financial Officer. In addition to these positions, Mr. Chapman has also run a successful mining/financial consulting business with clients from the State of Alaska, St. Augustine Copper & Gold Corp. and Russell Mining Corp. Mr. Chapman graduated from Idaho State University with a Bachelor of Science, Accounting and is a licensed CPA.
Cameron Paterson, CA
Vice President, Finance
Mr. Paterson is Vice President, Finance of Veris Gold Corp. He has held this position since July 2012, prior to that he was the Corporate Controller. Mr. Paterson has over 10 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting. From 2003 to 2011 he worked in the audit practice at Deloitte & Touche LLP where he gained extensive experience in the financial reporting and regulatory requirements for both Canadian and US publicly listed companies. As a senior audit manager responsible for leading the audits of large international public companies, including those in the mining industry, Mr. Paterson acquired considerable experience in complex areas of Canadian and U.S. GAAP as well as International Financial Reporting Standards. Mr. Paterson has been a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia since 2006 and holds and Economics degree, graduating with Distinction from the University of Victoria.
Todd W. Johnson, M.Sc Geo, Eng, P.E.
Vice President, Exploration
Mr. Johnson has over 22 years of experience in the precious and base metal resource industry and an additional 4 years of geotechnical engineering experience ranging from grass-roots exploration to mine predevelopment. Mr. Johnson is a Qualified Person as defined by the Canadian National Instrument 43-101 guidelines, a recognized expert in the assessment of base and precious metal systems, and has worked throughout the western United States, northern Mexico, and Canada. He worked for over 10 years with the Noranda-Hemlo Gold Mines group and was involved with the New World Au (Cu-Ag) discovery in Cooke City, Montana. After the merger of Hemlo Gold Mines and Battle Mountain Gold in 1996, Todd significantly contributed to the multi-million ounce resource expansion at the Phoenix Au (Cu-Ag) mine in Battle Mountain, Nevada which was later put into production by Newmont Mining Corporation. His most recent efforts have helped Veris Gold Corp. (Veris) return the Jerritt Canyon Au (Ag) mine back into production in 2009 after it was temporarily shut down in August 2008. Mr. Johnson also helped manage the 2008 geotechnical, hydrogeological, and geo-metallurgy drilling campaigns to help support Veris's ongoing predevelopment study and Yukon Environmental and Socio-economic Assessment Board (YESAB) application for the Ketza River Au Project in the Yukon Territory. In addition to his geological and exploration experience, Mr. Johnson is a Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the state of Nevada and has worked on several commercial and industrial developments, mine developments, residential developments, utility lines, and roadways with several engineering companies including AMEC.
Joanne C. Jobin
Vice President, Investor Relations
Ms. Jobin brings over 25 years of Investor Relations experience to Veris Gold. She began her career in the fledgling investor relations industry in 1987 with Barrick Gold, where she worked to develop its early IR and marketing programs. Since then she has worked in the natural resources sector and managed the investor relations, corporate affairs and communications programs for a number of publicly traded companies, including J.P. Morgan & Co. (Canada), Canadian Tire Corporation, HEPCOE Credit Union, IAMGOLD Corporation, Noront Resources and Excellon Resources. She also co-founded The FIRM and founded IR.INC, international investor relations marketing companies focused on the natural resource sectors.
Graham H. Scott, B.Sc, M.S., LL.B.

Mr. Scott combines 28 years as a resource and corporate finance lawyer with eight years of practical experience as an exploration geologist to give clients expert, balanced advice on all resource-related matters. He represents many Canadian public companies which are listed on the TSX and TSX Venture Exchanges, in addition to clients in the corporate finance business. Mr. Scott also represents a diverse group of clients in the mining industry, ranging from individual prospectors to multinational mining companies. In such work, Mr. Scott has negotiated and prepared participation and joint venture agreements for properties throughout the world. He has presented papers on securities law and mining law matters and has chaired many legal and industry conferences. Mr. Scott is listed in The Lexpert/American Lawyer Guide to the Leading 500 Lawyers in Canada, is one of the 230 lawyers world-wide listed in the International Who's Who of Mining Lawyers and is listed in the The Best Lawyers in Canada.
